This just goes to show how powerful the media is today--they are able to play both the good guys and the bad guys--and regardless of which role wins, they accomplish their goals one way or another--profit.

Profit = Media's only agenda.
This is absolutely ridiculous--and it goes to show you that conglomerates can play any field from any angle they want to. The media is able to influence the image of women globally, and I just hope that soon we as a society are able to realize the media's manipulations on our ideologies.

this is simply a parent company diversifying and enticing its different markets for its different products. also, could you be using the word "media" a bit too liberally? the way I see it is just as a couple marketing firms trying to use sex and/or emotional response to sell a product.
